What kind of Repairs Do We Plan to Offer at the Fall 2020 Café?
We are currently organizing our Fall 2020 Café and will be posting the types of repairs we will offer soon. The Repairers tackle simple repairs that can be done in 20 minutes or so. You can watch while your item is repaired or possibly assist with the repair.
At our January 25 Café, we offered the following repairs. The repairs offered vary at each Café.

COMPUTER/ELECTRONICS TROUBLESHOOTING
CERAMIC REPAIR
MECHANICAL CLOCKS
Minor repairs such as strike and chime synchronization, hand replacement and key selection. Guidance on leveling, regulating and putting a clock in beat: these can be done by the owner at home and can save on a house call. Can provide some guide to value of clock and repair estimates for more complicated clock repair.

SMALL WOODEN ITEMS
JEWELRY
Broken chain and clasp repair/replacement, earring conversion, gluing
KNITTED/WOVEN ITEMS
e.g. Patching, troubleshooting knitting project, reweaving
SEWING
Split seams, patches, buttons, heavy-duty fabrics (e.g. tents, canvas, outdoor equipment)
STUFFED ANIMAL REPAIR
