Mini-Repair Café – Aug 27

The August 27 Newburyport Farmers’ Market will feature our third “mini” Repair Café offering wood repair by several of our esteemed repairers! Small wooden household items will be accepted for repair from 9 AM to Noon.

New to our roster is Lorna who will be demonstrating how to fix cane chairs and other furniture from 10 AM to Noon.

Please keep us busy with your furniture or other household wooden items in need of repair — or just come see what we are about! Per usual rules: you must be able to carry your item to and from the Repair Café tent (in the back right corner as you view the Farmers’ Market from Water Street) and repairs should take ~20 minutes or less. Should your item(s) require more in-depth repairs requiring more time, our repairers may be able to refer you to their own or other professional services.

The Newburyport Farmers’ Market is located at 75 Water St in Newburyport, MA.

The Repair Café is deeply indebted to our many volunteer repairers and so grateful for their time and skills.
